The T/A 98 is a low profile luggage rack ducted evaporator unit engineered to maximize head clearance and overhead storage capacity.  The T/A 98 is engineered for uniform cooling, ease of installation, economical operation and maximum serviceability.  All Trans/Air components are backed with a full 24 month warranty and worldwide network of authorized service points.

Application
The T/A 98  has a maximum rating of 53,000 BTU/H and is designed specifically for coach, specialty and tour type vehicles up to 39 ft. in length.  With Trans/Air's Total Systems Approach, the T/A 98 evaporator can combined with a number of compressor/condensor options for a tailored system recommendation.

The T/A 98 evaporator comes standard with a durable ABS cover and washable, reusable filter.  ABS luggage rack ducting is available in beige and gray to blend in well with all interiors and has optional ball type shut off louvers and reading lights.  Low profile cover and ducting provide excellent head clearance and storage capabilities.

High efficiency low profile coils are used for maximum cooling output and include a commercial grade 3 ton externally equalized expansion valve.

Dual blower assemblies come equipped with larger blower wheels for greater CFM and motors utilize custom wound armatures for lower amperage draw and greater efficiency.  Blower motors have permanent magnets and sealed bearings for longer life and fewer maintenance requirements.

Trans/Air controls provide precise regulation of airflow and temperature.  All wiring harnesses include coded wiring and are properly gauged for the system amperage load to minimize voltage drop and increase efficiency.  High and low pressure switches and a freeze stat are used to protect the integrity of the system.
