Application
The Trans/Air T/A 66 is a uniquely designed and appropriately sized roof-top module, which is engineered to satisfy a wide range of product and application-dictated climate control requirements.

The T/A 66 is based on a modular design concept, which offers many distinct benefits.  The T/A 66 is conservatively reacted at 65,793 BTU/H.  A single module will service small or intermediate body sizes, while dual modules with properly matched compressors will effectively satisfy the requirements of a 45 ft. coach.  Systems configured with dual modules offer front-to-rear zoning control, which in conjunction with heat, fresh air, redundancy of split systems and a full array of control options ensures total passenger comfort.  The T/A 66 is available in both ducted and freeblow air distribution options.  In coaches equipped with mid-body doors, dual modules can be positioned so that ducted air can be efficiently distributed throughout the interior of the coach.

The T/A 66 has significant design features that make it applicable for use in electric vehicles.  The unit is designed to function with an electric compressor pack and its light weight provides for optimal weight-to-capacity ratio.

As with all Trans/Air components, the T/A 66 has been designed to address the serviceability factor by providing access to all serviceable components for the interior of the vehicle.
