The DCM II (Driver's Cooling Module) is a free-blowing, front mount evaporator unit that is used as a tie-in which an existing Trans/Air system for supplemental front air.  The DCM II is economical but built to last and provides uniform cooling, ease of installation, and maximum serviceability.  All Trans/Air components are backed with a full 24 month unlimited mileage warranty and worldwide network of authorized service points.

Application
The DCM II has a maximum rating of 12,000 BTU/HR and is engineered for P-Chassis and conventional vehicles not having OEM front-air.  With Trans/Air's Total Systems Approach, the DCM II evaporator can be used in conjunction with a wide variety of evaporator / condenser / compressor options for a tailored system recommendation.

The Cover, with washable filter, is made of neutral colored ABS plastic and can be trimmed to fit all coach interiors.  Multi-directional louvers provide even cooling and air distribution for the driver and front portion of vehicle.

Properly sized and balanced blower assemblies offer quiet operation and motors utilize custom wound armatures for lower amperage draw and greater efficiency.  Blower motors have permanent magnets and sealed bearings for longer life and fewer maintenance requirements.

The DCM II is intergrated with the Trans/Air control system which allows precise independent regulation of air flow and temperature.  All system wiring harnesses include coded wiring and are properly gauged for the system amperage load to minimize voltage drop and increase efficiency.  High and low pressure switches are used to protect the integrity of the complete system.

The DCM II is engineered for severe service application and comes equipped with all heavy duty components as standard equipment.
