Application
The T/A 71 has a maximum rating of 40,000 Btu/h and is engineered for van conversions and cut-a-way vehicles up to 17 ft. in length.  The T/Z 71 can be used in tandem or with other Trans/Air evaporators in medium body sizes up to 35 ft. in length.  With Trans/Air's Total Systems Approach, the T/A 71 evaporator can be used in conjunction with a wide variety of condenser/compressor options for a tailored system recommendation.

The Cover, with integral drain pan and washable filter, is made of durable ABS plastic.  Covers are available in white, beige and gray to blend well with all coach interiors.  Multi-directional louvers provide even cooling and air distribution throughout the vehicles interior.  High efficiency over sized coils are standard for maximum cooling output and include a commercial grade block type expansion valve.  Blower assemblies come equipped with larger blower wheels for greater air flow and motors utilize custom wound armatures for lower current draw and greater efficiency.  Blower motors have permanent magnets and sealed bearings for longer life and fewer maintenance requirements.

Trans/Air controls provide precise regulation of air flow and temperature.  All wiring harnesses include coded wiring and are properly gauged for the system amperage load to minimize voltage drop and increase efficiency.  High and low pressure switches are used to protect the integrity of the system.
