The T/A 77, Trans/Air's largest single freeblow evaporator, features 3 heavy duty dual-wheel blowers, paired with a dual split coil design.  The T/A 77 is engineered for uniform cooling, ease of installation, economical operation and maximum serviceability.  All Trans/Air components are backed with a full 24 month warranty and worldwide network of authorized service points.

Application
The T/A 77  has a maximum rating of 86,000 BTU/H and is engineered for heavy-duty transit-type rail chassis and conventional vehicles up to 33' in length.  With Trans/Air's Total Systems Approach, the T/A 77 evaporator can be used with an assortment of compressor/condensor options.  The dual split coil design offers maximum flexibility in system configuration.  The T/A 77 can be used in single evaporator applications, or be tied in with a drivers cooling module or dash air for severe duty operation.  The T/A 77 evaporator is piped and wired to offer the redundancy and benefits of a dual split system.

The cover, with integral drain pan and washable filter, is made of a durable ABS plastic available in a variety of neutral colors to blend well with all coach interiors.  Multi-directional louvers provide even cooling and air distribution throughout the vehicles interior.  High-efficiency over sized coils are standard for maximum BTU output and include commercial grade block type expansion valves

Triple blower assemblies come equipped with larger blower wheels for greater CFM and motors utilize custom wound armatures for lower amperage draw and greater efficiency.  Blower motors have permanent magnets and sealed bearings for longer life and fewer maintenance requirements.

Trans/Air controls provide precise regulation of airflow and temperature.  All wiring harnesses include coded wiring and are properly gauged for the system amperage load to minimize voltage drop and increase efficiency.  High and low pressure switches and a freeze stat are used to protect the integrity of the system.

Available Options
The DCM II is engineered for severe service application and comes equipped with all heavy duty components as standard equipment.
