Rooftop Condenser model specifications:

RTC ROOFTOP CONDENSERS

Trans/Air offers the RTC rooftop transit style condensers for severe duty transit applications, or when skirt space is limited or unavailable.  The lightweight, high capacity condensers provide for ease of installation, economical operation and maximum serviceability.  All Trans/Air components are backed with a full 24 month warranty and worldwide network of authorized service points.

Application
The RTC rooftop condensers are designed for use in transit service or for applications with limited skirt space.  They also perform well in hostile conditions such as dusty environments or operation over unpaved roads.

The RTC-3 is a fiberglass covered roof mounted condenser, which incorporates the ram-air effect for high efficiency.  This condenser is engineered for use in small to medium body sizes up to 20 ft. in length.

The RTC-6 is a single large condensing unit constructed of corrosion resistant powder coated aluminum.  This condenser is engineered for use in larger body sizes up to 45 ft. in lenth.

10 in. or axial fans are paired with 3 in. diameter motors with custom wound armatures for low amperage draw and greater airflow efficiency.  Fan motors have permanent magnets and sealed bearings for longer life and fewer maintance requirements.

All RTC condensers are equipped with 30 in.3 filter/driers which are properly sized for system protection.

The sight glasses are conveniently located isolated from fan blades for safety and ease of inspection.
