T/A Self-contained Unitary Climate Control Environmental Systems (SUCCES I & II).

The Trans/Air Succes is a Self-contained Unitary Climate Control Environmental System.  It has been engineered to meet the needs of both conventional as well as electric/electric hybrid vehicles in heavy-duty transit type applications.  The Succes I & II represent a collaborative effort between Trans/Air R&D and Pennsylvania State University with partial funding by the Pennsylvania Commonwealth's Ben Franklin Partnership Program.  The Succes I & II are designed with an attractive weight-to-capacity ratio to maximize efficiency and overall performance, while minimizing system energy consumption.  The units offer proven reliability and are backed with a full (24) month unlimited mileage limited warranty and worldwide network of authorized service points.

Application
The Trans/Air Succes I & II have a cooling capacity which ranges from 60,000 to 144,000 BTU/H and can be applied to a wide spectrum of body sizes.  The units are designed to be rear mounted with ducted air distribution.  They are equipped with an integral heat pump system to satisfy heating requirements.  Additional options include a waste heat recovery system and 100% fresh air make-up.  A unique factory charged, plug and play type configuration, results in an easily installed package.

The Succes I & II can be efficiently integrated in a wide variety of vehicle types.  The units can be operated in conventional vehicle engine, or AC/DC powered electric vehicle applications.  The units feature a fully automatic Trans/Air controller, combining hi-tech hardware and software, which ensures minimum energy consumption in electric or electric/hybrid vehicles and precise control in applications.
