September 1st 1999 MICROPROCESSOR BASED CONTROL SYSTEM Trans/Air Manufacturing, Dallastown, PA USA based manufacturer of transportation climate control systems, is pleased to announce the introduction of a microprocessor based control system. The fully functioned controller, is designed to provide full climate control capability and can be used in conventional, electric or hybrid vehicle applications. The controller can be programmed to provide up to four evaporator blower speeds, two condenser fan speeds, cabin temperature and cabin temperature set point, a system service record and a full array of system diagnostics.
NEW TECHNICAL GROUP OFFICE FACILITY Trans/Air Manufacturing, Dallastown, PA USA based manufacturer of transportation climate control systems is pleased to announce the completion of it's new Technical Group office facility. Trans/Air's Technical Group, is a recently expanded engineering department, comprised of Product Engineering, R&D, Technical Support and Logistics Support. The new facility accommodates 12 technical professionals and includes a separate R&D lab and an environmental test chamber dedicated to testing of HVAC components and systems integrated in buses up to 45 feet in length. In 1998, the Technical Group played a key role in the introduction of new products such as; the TA66, Succes I & II, microprocessor-based controller, C-465/650 compressors, and the New TA73, and will provide technical resources in support of Trans/Air's rapid growth well past the year 2000.
TA66 ROOFTOP CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM Trans/Air Manufacturing, Dallastown, PA USA based manufacturer of transportation climate control systems, has recently introduced its TA66 Rooftop Climate Control System. The TA66, which is conservatively rated at 65,703 BTU/h, is engineered to satisfy a wide range of severe duty transit type applications. A single module will service intermediate body sizes, while dual modules will satisfy the cooling requirements of a 45' coach. Features include all fiberglass construction, heat, fresh air, a full array of control options, and a unique gull wing design for access to all serviceable components. |
