While you are there, you can check the warranty status of your system given that you have your Warranty Registration Number (found in the back of your Trans/Air Owners Manual) or VIN Number.
Note: Unless your system was installed by Trans/Air, we generally do not cover installation failures (Typical Installation-Related Failures). To install a bus air conditioning system you must first, be certified to work with refrigerant, and secondly, have strong background knowledge of air conditioning components. If you do not already possess these two critical items, Trans/Air strongly recommends that you do not attempt to install a bus air conditioning system. Contact the Trans/Air Customer Service Department for assistance on how to locate your nearest installation facility. |

- Technically, tetrafluoroethane, also called simply R-134a, Genetron 134a, Freon 134a or HFC-134a, is a haloalkane refrigerant without an ozone depletion potential and thermodynamic properties similar to R-12 (dichlorodifluoromethane). It has the formula CH2FCF3, and a boiling point of −26.3 °C (−15.34 °F).

| How can I find the Warranty Registration Number of my Trans/Air System? |
| |
In the back of your Trans/Air system Owners Manual, you will find warranty registration documentation. Your Warranty Registration Number is in the upper right hand corner of the attached carbon copy form. (i.e. J12345 or L54321).
OR
Go to Warranty / Warranty Registrations and enter your VIN number in the white section to determine if your system is registered. If your system is registered, you will see a warranty registration summary that includes a Warranty Registration Number. NOTE: If your VIN Number is not found, try using the last 8 digits of the VIN Number instead of the full 17 digits.

Contact the Trans/Air Warranty Department to assist in locating your Warranty Registration Number. |

| How can I file warranty claims online? |

You must be an Authorized Service Center in order to be able to file Trans/Air warranty claims online. You must also have a login User ID and Password to access the Authorized Service Center Portal (ASCP). To obtain an Authorized Service Center Portal User ID and Password, please contact Trans/Air Manufacturing.
Once you have obtained the necessary Login information to the ASCP, you can login in by clicking here.
In the support documents sections of the ASCP, you will find a general guidelines document that will help you file your Trans/Air warrranty claim online. |
