Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises up to 5 employees in the Parts Department. Responsibilities include answering parts calls, proper invoicing; interviewing and training employees; approving timecards, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Answer incoming parts requests via phone, email & e-commerce
• Sales calls to major dealers, OEM’s and fleet customers.
• Responsible for the operations, personnel, marketing and profitability of the department
• Observe, encourage and inspire inside parts personnel to secure customer loyalty
• Forecast sales, gross profits and expenses
• Follow up with all customer issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and execute effective customer relations policies
• Set part sales goals
• Implement aggressive marketing plan to increase parts business
• Coordinates parts cost sheets and forecasts, audits cost management activities on a periodic basis
• Provide recommendations to other responsible parties on how to improve activities/practices
• Must adhere to all company policies
• Always carry oneself in a confident and professional manner while representing the company
• Must ensure all paperwork is submitted in a timely fashion
• Be willing to work hand in hand with all departments Engineering, Warranty & Sales (not all inclusive)

Other areas of responsibility include help design and maintain on-line website parts ordering system, update pictures as required, and assist in parts recalls. Key contact on the full application of Service Parts policies within the company.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications as well as identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents. Communication skills to effectively communicate with coworkers, end users, service centers, dealers and OEMs. Proven analytical skills necessary to make decisions and resolve conflicts.

Some travel may be required.

Full time position, 1st shift, Monday - Friday.

Overtime is optional.

Must be able to pass DOT physical and have an acceptable driving record.

No CDL needed.

Must be able to drive a forklift.

$18.00/hour

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical School is a plus
• Knowledge of Mobile Air Conditioning is a plus
• 609 Certification is a plus
• CDL is a plus
• Former employment as a technician or Mechanic is a plus

 Skills

• Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
• Excellent MS Office knowledge
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well with employees and business associates at all levels with a professional attidtude

• Website and IT experience a plus

 The candidate must be able to handle all aspects of warehousing including:

·       Communicating with purchasing, customer service and freight companies

·       Driving forklift

·       Lifting 40 lbs up to 20 times/day

·       Palletizing material for shipment

·       Loading and unloading trucks

·       Completing documentation
