Trans/Air Manufacturing Corp., a worldwide supplier of climate control products and services for the transportation industry, has an excellent career opportunity for an Air Conditioning Installation Technician at our Goshen and New Paris Indiana operations.
We primarily install on new and used School Buses and Commercial (Shuttle Type) Buses. The typical components are Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Mounts, Pulleys, Hoses and Electrical.

Responsibilities:
- Work in a shop environment with your hands
- Accurately install components on buses
- Be able to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
- Work with a safety mindset
- Properly maintain company owned building, tools & equipment
- Successfully communicate with Location Manager, Office Staff and Team Members
- Complete work in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform other tasks as required

- Must have your own basic tools
- Working knowledge of Mechanical Systems
- Working knowledge of Electrical Systems
- Read and understand technical manuals, drawings & schematics
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Work Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical School is a plus
- Knowledge of Mobile Air Conditioning is a plus
- 609 Certification is a plus
- CDL is a plus
- Former employment as a technician or Mechanic is a plus
